We got to see the first BYD Flash Charge in Europe! We do a full charging anlysis, hardware and infrastructure required to make this happen! This is done for the first time with the CCS2-plug, which is exciting as this sets the stage for a large expansion in Europe, South America and Africa. China is already all onboard the megawatt charging scheme for cars, and I am here to follow the development.
我们实地探访了比亚迪在欧洲的首个超快充站点!对完整充电过程、所需硬件及配套基础设施进行了全面分析。本次快充首次采用CCS2接口实现,这一突破意义重大,为比亚迪在欧洲、南美及非洲的大规模布局奠定了基础。中国已全面推行乘用车兆瓦级充电方案,而我也将持续跟进这一技术的发展动态。

比亚迪欧洲第一座闪充站上线,配合腾势Z9gt等闪充车型,进一步提升纯电车型的渗透率。
为了配合腾势在欧洲发布腾势Z9gt闪充版、第二代腾势D9闪充版,比亚迪宣布将在海外建设6000座闪充站,其中欧洲建设3000座。
现在腾势新车在巴黎歌剧院上市了,预计也将在欧洲其他国家继续召开小型发布会,届时各国第一座闪充站都将投入使用。
博主实测记录了车辆电量从 10% 充至 97% 的全过程。这套系统在欧洲官方额定功率达 1.5 兆瓦、1500 安,是目前欧洲独一无二、无任何竞品能匹敌的充电技术,且并非未来概念演示,比亚迪将于今年在欧洲正式落地推广。
实测充电速度极为惊人:10% 到 20% 仅需 48 秒,平均功率 900 千瓦;2 分 23 秒充至 40%;4 分 16 秒达 60%;5 分 20 秒充至 70%,接近官方宣称的 5 分钟;不到 5 分钟 WLTP 续航就突破 400 公里。

Not to mention, studies show the average stop for a gasoline car on a road trip is about 10-20 minutes. For me, the average stop in my gas car on a road trip was about 12 minutes. Wife, kids, dogs, bathroom, snacks. My Model Y charging stops are about 12-25 minutes. No big deal.

Not to take away the insane engineering and Innovation of charging by this BYD tech, one can easily find oil filling stations where the filling pipe are hanging from the top. There's practical nothing on the ground unlike traditional filling stations; the whole unit is hanging on top, and looks really weird when you see it for the first time. Its a really good way to utilize congested and cramped space in a big city.

The flexability aspect is really what appeals to me. At least in the US I really don't like the locations where most current fast chargers are located, yet I don't want to extend an already drawn out process by adding an addtional stop to get food etc. where I'd rather go.
