In a packed evening session bringing together some of Europe's most influential corporate leaders, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the European Round Table for Industry (ERT) and urged companies to invest in India.

Held on the evening of May 17 in Gothenburg, Sweden's industrial hub and a symbol of European manufacturing strength, the high-level roundtable saw the Prime Minister speak before senior executives representing some of Europe's largest corporations. The event, co-hosted by Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, marked one of the most significant diplomatic and business engagements between India and Europe in recent years.

5月17日晚间，这场座无虚席的座谈会汇聚了欧洲一众极具影响力的商界领袖。印度总理纳伦德拉·莫迪出席欧洲工业圆桌会议并发表讲话，呼吁各大企业赴印度投资兴业。

此次高端圆桌会议在瑞典工业重镇、欧洲制造业实力代表城市哥德堡举办。莫迪总理现场面向欧洲多家龙头企业高层管理者发表演说。本次活动由瑞典首相乌尔夫·克里斯特松与欧盟委员会主席乌尔苏拉·冯德莱恩联合主持，也是近些年印欧之间规模与分量十足的外交及商贸交流活动。

It's due to the schedule, not because of his age. Elections followed by economic condition meetings and then 5 countries visit for better foreign ties, all one by one immediately, this would exhaust even a young adult.

Relax. FIIs are leaving India cyclically. They do this every time they make a profit to send it back home. They will be back and are already returning in fact.

I think you need some knowledge here. First understand the difference between FII and FDI.
The FIIs you are talking about are those who invest in Stock markets, Bonds and keep moving their investments based on economic cycles.
The investments in this event or the investments any country asks for are FDIs. They are investments into physical assets and control, like setting up factories, industries, hubs, GCCs, Data centers etc.
There is no relation between FII and FDI, FII are for short-term like months to few years, but FDIs are for decades. FDIs don't affect just because of FIIs leaving.
It's like the difference between trading and long-term holding. One needs volatility and the other needs strong fundamentals.

先分清外来短期投资和实体直接投资的区别。大家说的撤资大多是股市债市的短期游资，会随行情频繁进出。

而此次洽谈引进的是实体直接投资，用来建厂、建产业园、搭建数据中心等实业项目。

两者互不影响，短期资金快进快出，实业投资都是长达数十年的长期布局，不会轻易动摇。

好比短线炒股和长期持有资产，侧重点完全不一样
