Valued at an estimated $2.3 billion for a multi-aircraft package—including training, technical support, and logistics—the proposed acquisition marks one of Bangladesh's largest defense deals. Government advisers have highlighted the strategic shift and cost-effectiveness of the 4.5-generation Chinese fighter, pointing to its regional profile following recent South Asian operational deployments.

为大力推进孟加拉国空军现代化建设，替换本国老旧机队，孟加拉国政府正开展正式谈判，计划引进中国制造的歼‑10CE多用途战斗机。
