US Iran war has exposed the invincibility of F35. Also it made the world realise that the future lies in drone technology. High tech drone swarms which cost a fraction of manned areal platforms along with missiles can wreak havoc even on best defence systems.
For India best bet would be to go with AMCA program… which in turn will helpful in develo robust drone technology alongside.

The problem with India is that is still far from achieving anything similar to a recent F‑16 and Russian technology has proven to be garbage. Better request F‑35s with Israeli tech input and runs on its own software if the US agrees.
