On the sidelines of the BRICS National Security Advisers' Meeting in New Delhi, India's National Security Adviser Ajit Doval met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Monday. India described the talks as "constructive and forward-looking", signalling continued efforts to stabilise and improve bilateral ties. According to China's Foreign Ministry, Wang Yi called for the faster restoration of dialogue mechanisms and greater cooperation in trade, finance and other sectors, while urging both sides to maintain engagement and manage differences constructively.
