Some rich Chinese tycoons such as Jack Ma want to bring back caste system to China but the co unist government tell them don't even think about it.
China is more diversified with races and languages, there are many more different races in China than in India, there are large populations of white people such as Russian descendents and Eurasians lving as Chinese citizens in China. China has thousands of local spoken languages too.

The government that was able to uproot and disrupt chronic ongoing corruption in all aspects was able to progress. YOu will see this in all forms of government. No one form of government is immune or shielded from this corruption. The chinese is rife and stiff with corruption still. However, they have done an amazing job compared to other nations of all forms in combating that.

Unless India adopts a completely different set of values and social institutions, India will always be behind. Do not compare India to China. Compare India to Indonesia and Bangladeshi, and you see how antiquated India is.
