China's Afghan affairs envoy in Delhi; Meets Indian diplomat handling Afghanistan

中国驻阿富汗事务特使，赴德里会见处理阿富汗事务的印度外交官

China’s special envoy on Afghan affairs Yue iaoyong made a low-key visit to New Delhi. During his visit, China’s special envoy held talks on Afghanistan matters with Joint Secretary JP Singh, who handles the Afghanistan division at the Ministry of External Affairs. This was the first such senior-level meeting between India & China after the Taliban took over Afghanistan in August last year. Both iaoyong and Singh agreed to encourage engagement, enhance dialogue for Afghan peace & stability.

访问期间，中国特使与印度外交部负责阿富汗事务的联合秘书JP·辛格就阿富汗问题举行了会谈。

这是自去年8月塔利班占领阿富汗后，印度和中国之间的首次高层会晤。
