China's rocket launches climb to new highs

中国火箭发射次数再创新高

China has launched a stratospheric number of rockets in 2026, a record 70 carried out in the first nine months of this year, which is 19 percent more than last year.

They're doing it with a focus on mass production, reusable rocket technology and overseas satellite services.

Rocket makers are delivering more rockets at higher intervals. The deputy chief designer at CAS Space says they've cut the final assembly time for one model of rocket from three months to about two weeks.

Reusable technology is another focus.

火箭制造企业交付速度持续加快。中科宇航副总设计师介绍，他们一款火箭的总装周期，已经从三个月压缩到大约两周。

可回收技术是另一大重点。

In July a rocket stage was recovered using a net system at sea, and in August China carried out its first recovery of an orbital-class rocket's first stage by using landing legs.

Both recovered stages are being inspected and refurbished for future flights.

China's commercial satellite companies are also looking overseas.

In August, a Chinese commercial space company completed satellite development, launch, and in-orbit delivery for a Southeast Asian country for the first time.

7月，中国在海上采用网捕方式回收了火箭一子级；8月，又首次依靠着陆腿，完成入轨级火箭一子级的回收。

这两个回收回来的箭体正在检测翻新，准备再次投入发射。

中国商业卫星企业也积极开拓海外市场。8月，一家中国商业航天企业首次为东南亚国家完成卫星研制、发射以及在轨交付的全流程服务。

 

中国国家统计局10月19日发布的数据显示，前三季度，高技术制造业增加值增长14.3%，增速快于全部规模以上工业，产业新动能持续释放。回看前三季度，中实施火箭发射70次，比去年同期的59次增加11次，创历史同期新高。发射频次提升，进一步支撑中国低轨卫星互联网建设。

China is on track to launch more than 100 single use rockets this year. The US, before reusable rockets, averaged 15-20. So China's manufacturing capacity is atleast 4 times that of US. And now China is slowly going to transition to reusable rockets too. Once they do, its not even going to be a competition. Majority of space missions are going to be launched by China.
