法国正遭遇极端高温热浪，巴黎为各学校采购中国空调

Geoffroy Boulard, mayor of Paris' 17th arrondissement, posted a video on X, showing that he has ordered China-made air conditioners to public schools as France faces an intense heatwave that has pushed classroom temperatures to as high as 44 C. The mayor said that there would be 50 air conditioners to be deployed in schools. The video showed that the air conditioners were productions of Chinese company Haier. Leading Chinese air conditioner manufacturers are working around the clock to keep up with soaring demand for portable split air conditioners, which have seen booming sales as record-breaking heatwaves sweep across Europe, according to one firm and relevant media reports on Saturday.

A back-to-back AC is $1,500 for a ground floor installation. Costly & time sensitive.
