@khiemgom actually some of the more remote mines in Australia are using more and more Battery Electric Vehicles which are recharged with solar (lots of sunlight in Australia ).

For EV'S, you need much cheap electricity. The West doesn't have. The PRC produces more electricity then USA EU JPN SK and little-India combined. China's Green Electricity production equals little-India's total electricity production. And all at much lower cost then in any other country.

Many people have solar panels and a lot have batteries) and from 1 July all power companies will have to offer 3 hours free electricity per day since we have so much solar. So at peak production EVs can recharge for free or if it’s at your home anytime there is light (if you have solar panes).
