Train delays will ease in 7-8 mths: Railways official
NEW DELHI: The railways said chronic train delays would ease in seven to eight months as ongoing work related to track renewal and elimination of unmanned level crossings, the main reasons for such holdups, would be over by then.
Railway board member (traffic) M Jamshed said around 5,000 km of tracks was renewed in 2017-18
4000 km of track being changed this year, wow that's a mega project.

If you look closely, most trains that do not touch Bihar and UP; generally are on time. It''s about time that an ultimatum to be given to thesE 2 states that if you don''t start behaving like decent people, trains in these 2 states will be banned.

Train of premium also runs late always the train shatabadi express which runs between bangalore chennai is always late so railways has to keep in mind and see the train runs at Wright time .

It is a very sorry state of railways that they are giving excuses for delays .But after four years of governance it seems unbelievable that railway is doing this and that .The railways did nothing remarkable except to announce Bullet train in four years
