At least 68 people died when a Spanish high-speed express slammed into a stationary train on Wednesday, with rescuers scouring mangled carriages ​for more bodies after Spain's second fatal rail crash this year and Europe's deadliest since 2013.
Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said "all of Spain" was in mourning after the collision, which the transport ‌minister said happened after a Renfe service was authorised to proceed despite an active red signal due to a stationary train ahead.

Spain’s rail system operator ADIF said the crash occurred Wednesday morning in the province of Toledo. Rail service was suspended between Madrid, Ciudad Real and Andalusia.

西班牙铁路基础设施公司ADIF称，事故发生在周三上午的托莱多省。马德里、雷阿尔城与安达卢西亚之间的铁路线路已暂停通行。

Train engineering and IT are working hand in hand over 20 years to make things like this IMPOSSIBLE to happen.. This accident (was) is clearly not based on some very nasty facts of coincidences but because of a "system failure" that "neutralized" the build-in security system logic and it must have been tampered at some level.

This is awful. Out thoughts are with all of the injured and deceased, as well as their families and the emergency support. This is actually the third major train crash in Spain within one year. I've traveled on numerous high-speed trains in Spain - often delayed. On paper, Spain has the second longest stretch of high-speed rail in the world, but the rail network is far from optimal.

As things currently stand, an accident of this nature should, in fact, no longer be possible. This fact alone suggests that the situation must be analyzed down to the smallest detail. From a technical perspective, a rear-end collision in rail transport is effectively ruled out today; in other words, without some form of tampering with the safety system—specifically the data infrastructure that underpins this IT security—such an incident is simply impossible. Consequently, the internal data system must have been partially deactivated or "overwritten"—that is, manipulated—through an act of sabotage. While it may sound incredible, given the circumstances—such as the takeover of control over the safety system—this is the only plausible explanation!
Perhaps this is precisely the starting point for a forensic investigation.

按现在的技术标准，这类事故本不该发生。仅凭这一点，就必须把所有细节彻查清楚。从技术上来说，现在的铁路本可以杜绝追尾。换句话说，除非有人改动安全系统，也就是底层的数据安全架构，否则事故不可能出现。也就是说内部数据系统一定是被人为关闭、改写，遭到蓄意破坏。听着虽然难以置信，但结合安全系统被控制这个情况，这是唯一说得通的解释！这或许就是调查的突破口。
