The Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games are facing complaints over accommodation, short beds, room allocation, long travel times and logistical challenges even before the Games officially begin. Japan chose a cost-cutting model instead of a traditional athletes’ village, raising questions about where organisers should draw the line between saving money and providing basic facilities for athletes. As India looks ahead to its 2036 Olympic ambitions, the bigger question is whether every host is judged by the same standard — and whether India can learn from what is happening in Japan.

爱知-名古屋亚运会尚未正式开幕，就已经收到大量投诉，问题涉及住宿条件太差、床铺尺寸偏短、房间分配不合理、通勤耗时过长以及各类后勤难题。

日本放弃传统亚运村方案，选用压缩成本的办赛模式，这也引发各方争议：赛事主办方在节约经费和保障运动员基础配套之间，该如何把握尺寸。

印度正筹划申办2036年奥运会，由此引出一个更关键的问题——所有赛事主办国是否都将被用同一套标准来评判？印度又能否从日本身上吸取教训。

2026年爱知·名古屋亚运会尚未正式开幕，就已经被多国代表团、媒体和奥委会全面批判。从运动员睡集装箱、被困机场数小时，住宿条件简陋、餐饮质量缩水、交通调度混乱，三个最基础的办赛环节接连出现问题，这场本该彰显亚洲体育风采的盛会，硬生生被办成了一场各国代表团的“生存挑战”。这届亚运会从一开始就把“简约节俭办赛”作为主要方向。名古屋申办时承诺总经费控制在850亿日元以内，但如今预算已经接近3000亿日元

The way India and Indians government were abused and humiliated during any slip up or gaffe in any event hosted in India would result to demoralise India.

In my role, I have been to many countries for sporting events, including multi sports like the Asian and Commonwealth Games. India was one of them. I must say, many things went wrong in India than it should have. But in fairness, they have the manpower to fix things quickly. What's happening in Nagoya is quite disappointing

因为工作，我去过很多国家报道体育赛事，包括亚运会、英联邦运动会这类综合性大赛，印度也去过。说实话，印度当年确实出了不少纰漏。但客观来讲，印度有充足人力快速解决问题。对比起来，名古屋亚运会这次发生的情况，实在让人失望。
