India’s Unique Core Advantage: Multinational Corporations’ Trust in Its Data Sector

When asked what India possesses that China does not, the expert interviewed offered a core answer: global corporations are willing to entrust their data, outsourcing operations and banking records to India, a level of trust unique to India and absent in China.

He cited an example: German automakers set up manufacturing plants in China, yet Deutsche Bank houses its data operations in Mumbai. European car brands run their production lines in China, but entrust India with their sensitive data storage and management.

The expert nevertheless acknowledged that trust alone is far from sufficient to sustain national development. India must simultaneously build robust economic competitiveness, which stands as its biggest challenge at present.

印度独有的核心优势：跨国企业的数据信任

被问到印度拥有什么中国不具备的东西时，受访专家给出核心答案：国际企业愿意把数据、外包业务、银行资料交给印度，这份信任是印度独有、中国没有的。

他举例：德国车企把工厂设在中国，但德意志银行把数据业务放在孟买；欧洲各国汽车生产线落地中国，敏感数据却交由印度保管。

但专家坦言，只靠 “信任” 远远不够，没法单独支撑国家发展，印度必须同步打造过硬的经济竞争力，这也是印度当下最大挑战。
