Nokia failed not because it couldn't adapt but it didn't want to adapt. Nokia didn't want to use Android but only their own OS as a differentiator and failed. Toyota case is different. Even if Toyota wants, it cannot compete with China car companies because battery is the main differentiator in BEV cars and toyota cannot compete in price here
