I am THE FIRST person in Australia to pick up their BYD Atto 1 Premium, the CHEAPEST new electric car you can buy in Australia, and this marks the begng of a crazy new series for CarSauce.

博主进行了首次试驾，称该车悬架调校偏软但舒适性佳，车身侧倾控制出色，顶配车型动力更强，扭矩转向的体验堪比小钢炮，在限速内驾驶乐趣十足，完全值得加钱选择，低配车型甚至无无线充电功能，顶配与低配价差约 3000 澳元，性价比更高。该车裸车价 26990 澳元，落地价超 31240 澳元，含嫩芽绿车漆 450 澳元、交付费 500 澳元等附加费用，虽比预期贵，且与部分电动 SUV 价位相近，但仍有 5000 澳元左右价差。

South African. Picked one up for the wife in October. Zero toys compared to other markets (No ADAS except rear camera). Not a drivers car by any means, but for school runs and local trips, it's an awesome little car. We use the mobile charger to charge overnight about every 2 weeks.

Interesting that you can't pickup from Brighton anymore. Back when they were next-door to their current place, they delivered my BYD Seal directly there, though it was a mess on their part getting it from Clayton - this is probably the better way to avoid headaches!

here in france it's 25990 in yellow as standard on this higher comfort trim, add 399€ for the delivery, add 253.76€ for the registering with the license plate and take away 3000 for the discount, you get a BYD Dolphin Surf for 23'642.76€ on the road, which equals to 40'848AUD. An MG4 is which is also very cheap is around 29000€ so 50000AUD... this is considered very cheap here

Great little car, especially for urban driving. Also a great 2nd car. Not everyone needs a big 4wd SUV (especially in the cities).

The Atto1 is definitely a fun car. I test-drove it on Monday as a possible replacement for a 2005 Yaris. Similar size, but of course, a century-worth of technology ahead. Nifty, but understeery. I tried going around a roundabout quickly (on purpose) and I ended up changing lanes on the way out as it understeered. :) But overall, there's definite value in it... and like you said, surprisingly spacious.

I would love one. However, living in Canada with actual winter and a 190km round trip commute it just doesn’t have the range - I need 500km minimum in good weather to hold range in bad weather. Sticking with my Ioniq6 rear drive long range for now which can get me to and from work with room for errands on top. It will be interesting to see what the car landscape here looks like in five or so years (given the givens - ruptured trade, Chinese brands coming to Canada, new battery tech, etc)

Not sure of the longevity of the byd's, i've seen a few people have issues after about 18mths & the roadside assist only last for 12mth, it also seems the after sales service is NOT that good either ?

You may also want to consider Lynk & Co. Like the Seagull, the 02 EV is a fantastic city car, but its Volvo-shared architecture and 272hp motor make it my final choice for a more powerful drive.

I paid about this much maybe a bit more for the atto 2 in Malaysia. vented seats baby...and the 51KWH battery, def...worth it. Plus it's just a bit bigger and a bit taller than the atto 1. I really like the car, not bad for about 89K, about 22K UDS. I'd buy it again, after owning for about 6 months. Also at that price came with 1 year of insurance and road tax. I had to pay extra for window tint, but well, need that in southeast asia for sure.

我在马来西亚买Atto2，花的钱差不多，可能还贵一点。座椅带通风，香啊，还有51度的电池，绝对值了。而且比Atto1大一点、高一点。我超喜欢这车，花了大概8.9万马币，折合2.2万美元，开了六个月，感觉超棒，再买我还选它。这个价格还包一年的保险和路税。车窗贴膜是额外花钱的，但东南亚这地方，贴膜肯定是必须的。
