China’s CH‑7 stealth unmanned aerial vehicle represents a major leap in military aviation. Developed by the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, the drone is designed with a flying‑wing configuration that reduces radar visibility and enhances endurance. It has a wingspan of about 22 meters, can reach altitudes of 15,000 meters, and cruises at speeds close to 0.75 Mach. With a range exceeding 7,000 kilometers and payload capacity of 1,000 kilograms, the CH‑7 is capable of long‑duration missions deep into contested airspace. Its roles include intelligence gathering, surveillance, reconnaissance, and precision strike operations. The successful maiden flight in December 2025 marked the transition into full testing, validating autonomous takeoff, landing, and flight control systems. The CH‑7 signals China’s determination to expand its unmanned combat capabilities, positioning it as a rival to advanced Western UAVs and resha the balance of air power in the Indo‑Pacific region
