Need a visa for China? Not anymore for many! China has expanded its visa-free policy to more countries across Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.

Starting June 1, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Peru and Uruguay will enjoy visa-free access for up to 30 days. From June 9, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain join the list.

Why the focus on Latin America and Gulf nations now? What does this mean for tourism, trade and business?

#1 reason for visa free travel: Infrastructure investments created a lot of training needs. The trainee goes to China for an extended period for training maybe under a work visa, but what about the family? This would allow the spouse & kids to tag along with less hassle. After 30 days, they can always leave or get an extension.

Last time China opened the door for UK UK brought Opium war and invaded Tib, nowadays there is still a piece of land India took from Tib under the British Indian time.

USA could be cia agents so need to be vetted. Poor countries could bring people who overstay and live unground as undocumented for years. Lituania is taking money from Taiwan. Sweden is top 5 strongest passports in the world, so there is another reason, the high horse.

Applying for a visa would be better. You can maybe get 30 days with a visa instead of 6 days on the visa-free
