Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Indian Air Force (IAF) on Saturday tested the indigenously designed and developed Stand-off Anti-tank (SANT) missile from Pokhran ranges, informed the Ministry of Defence. "The test was successful in meeting all its mission objectives. The release mechanism, advanced guidance and tracking algorithms, all avionics with integrated software, performed satisfactorily and tracking systems monitored all mission events," the ministry said. The SANT missile is equipped with a state-of-the-art MMW seeker which provides high precision strike capability from a safe distance. The weapon can neutralise targets in a range up to 10 kms.

印度国防部通报，印度国防研究与发展组织和印度空军)周六在博克兰靶场测试了自主设计和开发的反坦克导弹(SANT)。

“这次试验实现了所有的任务目标。先进的制导和追踪算法，所有航空电子设备与集成软件，表现令人满意，追踪系统监测所有任务事件，”国防部说。

SANT导弹装备了最先进的MMW导引头，具备从安全距离进行高精度打击的能力。这种武器能摧毁10公里范围内的目标。

And missiles can expload in different modes:

1) delay mode

2) impact mode

3)explode before 0.3-0.5 m

Didnt it just miss the target? If DRDO claims it has millimeter precision, then i dont think this is the result we wanted. If it is so, then we haven't achieved our objective. There is still room for improvement.
