IAF to get six more Rafale fighter jets with long range missiles and frequency jammers

印度空军又将接收6架“阵风”战机，配备远程导弹和频率干扰器

India is set to get remaining six Rafale multi-role jets with country-specific enhancements including long range air-to-air missiles, frequency jammers and advanced communications in the coming two months. According to IAF officials, first of the three Rafales with India specific enhancements with arrive from Istres-Le Tube air base, north-west of Marseille, France in December while the last three of multi-role fighters will be flown into Ambala air base in January 2022. It is understood that once the India specific enhancements are tested to satisfaction in Indian conditions, the exsting fleet of 30 Rafales will be retrofitted with the same enhancements in the coming year.

印度将在未来两个月内接收剩余6架“阵风”多用途战机，这些战机按照印度的要求进行改装，包括远程空对空导弹、频率干扰器和先进通信。

据印度空军官员称，三架印度加强版“阵风”战机中的第一架将于12月从法国马赛西北部的伊斯特雷斯-勒Tube空军基地出发飞抵印度，而最后三架将于2022年1月飞往安巴拉空军基地。

据悉，一旦加强版的阵风战机在印度进行的测试令人满意，现有的30架“阵风”战机将在未来一年进行相同的改装。

Nobody  can buy F-22s. Also it's about the price. In an ideal world, India would have an amazing fleet of American level tech. But India has only a $3 trillion dollar economy to feed  1.4 billion people, while China has $16.6 trillion dollars to feed around the same number. This is why China will be more powerful than India for the near future at least.

USA doesn't sell F22 to any country, also the cost of flying F22 per hours is too much that's why even USA is replacing all its F22 by F35, though F35 stands nowhere near F22 yet its not practical to Use F22 which has a very very high cost of flying and maintenance.

Rafale procurement deal is corruption free, because there's no middleman involved as it is a Govt. to Govt deal. Only questionable part was offset clause which is again a separate issue.
