A new investigation by the Western publications The Insider, Der Spiegel and Le Monde reveals that Russia and China have teamed up to find a way to destroy Elon Musk's Starlink. Starlink is the satellite internet service offered by SpaceX. Starlink has been invaluable to Ukraine over the course of its war with Russia. The new report says that Moscow and Beiing realised the dangers of Starlink early on, and have been working together since 2023 to come up with a way to counter the service. The report says that a state-owned Chinese firm linked with the country's space programme has proposed a three-pronged approach to cripple Starlink. Naive thinking. Starlink satellites are part of US strategic assets in space. Attack on this infrastructure could triggers war world III, including damaging nuclear hits. The perpetrators will be easily identifiable and won't able to hide.
Besides, any attempt to destroy some satellites will cause the debris rendering space inaccessible to any crew mission to any nation, incl. China and Russia. So China's reply is to mimic US and to build "Chinese Starlink". EU is also to follow. Russia is in deep shit again.
