I think there’s still demand for EVs in the US, but the EVs being sold are too expensive or don’t have the range needed. We also haven’t invested in charging stations which leads to EVs needing more range and thus costing more. We needed Biden’s infrastructure investment that Trump canceled in favor of giving that money to the rich.

Because of the cost, fewer and fewer buyers can afford to buy new vehicles. With fewer buyers able to purchase new vehicles, that means the pool of used vehicles will slowly shrink over time. Because of the cost of vehicles, seven year vehicle loans are not uncommon! Seven years! And: 'Americans Are Falling Behind on Their Car Payments' Wall Street Journal Oct. 10, 2025 5:30 am ET "Delinquency rates on subprime auto loans are at records". This is not sustainable! Something has to change!

Too bad they're not making any money from that though… And as far as a bad deal for Tesla, mention one CEO where performance is tired so closely to a pay package. Why? its actually very simple, China needs to get rid of fossil fuel dependency on other countries ASAP. In order to achieve that they need to push for everything related with electricity and nuclear powerplants. Thats the vulnerability of China on the same scale what was Japans problem at the start of the last century.
