As Friedrich Merz prepares to head to China, German political leaders, central bankers, business groups and unions have begun talking openly about the risks of a “China shock”. A report by Rhodium says Berlin still isn’t taking real policy action.

@zuzanazuscinova5209 huh? The problem is EU is not a federal country. And for EU to have any form of federalism there should be a common link language in all member countries first. So that, for example, a Romanian can move to Germany and still manage basic stuff like Banking services, Income tax filing, Higher education, Jobs, etc without language problems. Language will still be used for personal relationships. Kinda like India where Indian languages are used everywhere but English is the highest status language of the country be it Administration, Judiciary, Higher education, Jobs, Banking services, Income tax filing, etc anything and everything.
