Immediately following American air strikes, Iranian military officials flew to Beiing to negotiate the purchase of J-10C fighter jets and AWACS from China.

Pakistan's air force is equipped with Chinese-built fighters and missiles, and in a recent air battle against Indian forces shot down several top-line Western-built fighter jets and drones.

Chinese defense firms build equipment that is comparable or superior in quality, at considerable cost savings head-to-head against gear from NATO countries or Russia.

What's more, other militaries are struggling to build weapons at all, given that supply chains for the most advanced munitions and systems run through China for rare earth metals, and the other BRICS countries for raw materials.

If China agrees to supply Iran, it will remake the military and diplomatic landscape of the Middle East, for decades to come.

在美国发动空袭后，伊朗军方官员随即飞往北京，就从中国购买歼-10C战斗机和预警机进行谈判。

1. most people got the wrong impression that the J10 won the short India Pakistan air war. NO. it was HQ anti-air radar locked on to its targets, J10 launched PL15, and the AWACS guided the missiles to its targets that won the short air war. it was China's air defense system won the war. the J10 was part of it. if Iran has that erroneous assumption. they will be disappointed. in a dogfight, the French Rafale will come out on top. the J10 was a launch platform for PL 15.
2. Iran just arrested 700 spies and executed 3 of them the past week. they have been in power for more than half century and they only began to clean out the Mossad and CIA network that took root during Shah regime? how many Iranian scientists and leaders were assassinated during the past decades?
3. China and Russia won't want to see Iran go under, nothing more. Iran is not trustworthy or credit-worthy. it's either cash upfront or no hardware of any kind from China.

@Ace1000ks. That's because the awacs didn't just guide the planes. It told the plane to fire the missile in a certain direction and then it guided the missile close enough such that's missile own homing system locks on Indian planes. The J10 was basically firing missile in the dark without a target. And it doesn't have to be awacs, any radar in the system can guide the missile toward the target. The plane is just a missile delivery vehicle. It's flies low, shoots in the dark and go home. And no Indian can't do this cuz it doesn't have integrated system.

Israel might want to, but China won't sell. China has spoken against settler colonialism many times, and Israel likes to build their own weapons domestically using US funds. Plus, China is friends with ALL of Israel's enemies, so they won't destroy that relationship.
