@capricorn839 nope, both countries have earlier formed a joint venture co-operation to develop C929 etc but later Russia pulled out bcoz of the eruption in Russia-Ukraine war where all this Russian aviation expert in the joint venture co-operation have to be redeployed. All other reasons are secondary.

But don't be daft, they will get there. Airbus can't produce enough, and Boeing is somewhat in decline.
I'll guess it's actually a 10 - years plan until Comac competes with Airbus
