its this the same oblique detonation engine they previously hit mach 6 in? or a separate oblique detonation engine altogether from an unrelated parallel project? if they have two of these project and both are ahead of the rest of the world that that amazing especially if they have it working at mach 16, as they have previously only had it slightly over mach 6 in a real world flight test.

i showed the previous video to someone i work with and he said would be easy to see that and shoot it down, and i just laughed and said i yeah, but very few air-to-air missiles or surface-to-air interceptors in the world even go fast enough to catch it, even if they were fired from point blank range, and at max speed to start with; he's a maple-MAGA guy, so he's not that bright...lol

@demon2others No, in my case, that is not true. If it turns out to be gradual and comfortable like a high-speed train, then I will try to take a flight if I can afford one. It's just that the speed is so much faster than anything that humans regularly use today, am I not sure how it would feel. My understanding is that pilots feel a lot of physical pressure on their faces when they reach high speeds of even Mach 1. I thought such pressure was one of the reasons that they wear masks. If it's comfortable, I'd like to try it.
