China has achieved a significant breakthrough in deep-Earth exploration with the drilling of a super-deep borehole in injiang which reached the 10,910-meter mark, making it the deepest vertical well in Asia and the second deepest worldwide.

中国在深部地球探测领域取得了重大突破，在新疆钻出的一口超深钻孔已达到10910米的深度，成为亚洲最深的垂直井，也是世界第二深的井。

@NathanZar Well, we were not discussing whether Europe is a continent or not, but rather where the deepest well is.
However, according to a definition of a continent, Europe is and also is not a continent. Depends on the definition. if I am not mistaken, the definition of a continent you think of, requires large land mass to be separated from the other by ocean to be called a continenct, right? With this definition, I came across various number of continents too - Eurasia instead of Europe and Asia, or even Europe, Asia and Africa considered as one continent.
The other definitions/conventions state Europe and Asia as separate continents with border between them going through the Ural mountains.
In my country, we have 2 different words with two different definitions. The first one is "kontinent", which basically means "continent" and recognizes Europe and Asia as one - Eurasia. While the other word is "svetadiel", which is also translated to "continent" in English, but disagrees with the definition a bit, and according to its definition, there is Europe and there is Asia. This word, in its definition, also takes into account e.g. historical, cultural and social aspects.
Therefore, while you are right that according to a certain definition it is not a continent, you are also wrong to say it is not a continent at the same time because of different definitions. But even if we go according to the definition which goes only with Eurasia, we may say that something is in the European part of Eurasia (or we may say Europe because it's shorter and still valid).
