@asia911 No they were not - they were back projected which means its a passive image on a screen and does in and of itself illuminate the set. So if you drive down a road with lamp posts, the lamps wont iluminate the car as it passes them, you have to add that in post - this WILL. Your empire is in freefall collapse - STOP trying to cling onto greatness.

Sadly, pedowood is still ahead but Chinese movies hv started giving high quality movies in dramas but when it comes to high budget blockbusters movie they lack quality. But overall Chinese movie industry has improved a lot.

I feel like AI in the industry has filled me with so much doom and gloom. The idea of my art essentially meaning nothing…it doesn’t sit right with me. I know someone who isn't an artist tell me that they're working on a script with AI and all they have to do is input the scripts for Oppenheimer and The Imita tion Game along with set commands and ideas he has and it’ll come up with his full feature for him. Admittedly this makes me queasy to think about. I feel like so much time and effort I put into working hard and studying my craft has come down to nothing…I try not to let it eat at me too much, but I feel like it's only going to continue to sit in my chest till I explode.

Artificial intelligence is resha China's film industry. Virtual production is going mainstream, and artificial intelligence is slashing costs and boosting efficiency in film production, according to Hollywood filmmaker and producer Keith Collea.

Chinese movie makers were unique in taking images from real human and objects, while Hallywood and Desney use CG replacing special effects made by specialists. With AI, CG can be made quickly with less resouces, quality of image details does not match with that taken from the real world. It is true the numbers of movies published will increase dramatically, which is called growth.

I just wrapped a show where we had to use Topaz to remove noise from the background footage to be projected on a cyc on a virtual production stage. It takes forever to render and it is not totally dependable in my opinion.

If we remember back in the mid 90's, everyone was talking about how electronic drums would do away with real drums, or in the early 2000s, everyone was talking about how digital art was going to be the death of "real art", but it wasnt. Same will happen here with AI, nothing to worry about as a filmmaker. AI will have its uses in film, but in the end, the real thing is always authentic to the user/viewer time and time again.

Unless AI can directly convert any screenplay sheet into scenes like these without any limitation . Artists still viable, when it come to art, its always about variances. Audience they just dont want to see the same thing over and over again on screen, eventually they will look for something else when your repeating is too obvious
