Earthquake of 6.1 magnitude strikes northwestern China

NEW DELHI: In a tragic turn of events, a powerful earthquake of 6.1 magnitude struck northwestern China's Gansu-Qinghai border on Tuesday, leaving a trail of devastation with loss of lives and widespread damage.

Death toll from the earthquake in China's Gansu-Qinghai border region has surpassed 100 people, as reported by state news agency outlet inhua.

据国家通讯社新华社报道，中国甘青交界地区地震造成的遇难人数已超过100人。
