Main bridge of China's cross-sea high-speed rail completes closure

中国跨海高铁主桥完成合龙

The main bridge on a sea-crossing high-speed railway connecting the cities of Fuzhou and iamen in east China's Fujian Province joined together on Friday.

周五，连接中国东部福建省福州市和厦门市的跨海高速铁路主桥成功合龙！

新建福州至厦门高速铁路（简称“福厦高铁”）是中国国内首条跨海高铁，项目位于福建省沿海地区，北起福州市，南至厦门市和漳州市，正线全长277.42公里，设计时速350公里

其中全线重点控制性工程——泉州湾跨海大桥全长20.287公里，海上桥梁长8.96公里，跨越泉州湾的主桥长800米、主跨400米，为双塔双索面钢混结合梁半漂浮体系斜拉桥，这也是国内首座跨海高速铁路桥。
