Murali Krishnan, I share safety tips
The Habit of Reading.
Indians are the world's biggest bookworms, reading on average 10.7 hours a week, twice as long as Americans, according to a survey.
Analysts say much of the Indian reading is educational.
Ironically, one-third of rural Indians and about 15% of the urban population is still illiterate according to the National Readership Survey.

CELEBRATE A HOLIDAY EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR
As every Indian knows that India celebrates multiple holidays throughout the year and each one ID celebrated profusely.
That's simply cause of the Hindus worship gods of fertility, wealth, heroism, and seasons. There are literally holidays almost everyday of the year, the people take these times to visit their neighbours, make food (yuuuuumy) and enjoy life together!
RESPECT FAMILY AND ELDERS, AND WORK TO MAKE THEM PROUD
My mum is an Indian and she taught me that family and elders are the most important people in India. Once educated and married, the children will start take care of their parents. The oldest son will marry and move his new family into his parents home in order to take care of the entire family. Well Family Pride is so important that the children will study as hard as possible in order to make their parents happy. ^^IN INDIA, FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS ARE THR ONLY RELATIONSHIPS THAT WILL LAST A LIFETIME^^

I would like to share an incident.
I was working in bundelakhand area of UP. During panchayat election (3 tier local self go nment) time I was nominated for election duty as a presiding officer in one of the remotest village of most backward district in the region. It was my first such duty. I had never seen or participated in panchayat election before.
I was skeptical about responsibility to conduct fair and peaceful polling in such remote and sensitive area. I even talked to district magistrate to cancel my duty. I just wanted to run away. Finally Day of polling came.
As instructed I reached polling station with team a day before to make necessary arrangements so that polling could be started timely the very next day. It was a class room of a primary school with literally no resources, not even chairs and bedding to sleep. To my surprise local people like panchayat members, school teachers and villagers helped me through by arranging enough things to make that empty room function like a polling booth. I was still terrified to think of any possible disturbances during polls.
Beauty of my country unveiled the next morning. Hundreds of villagers started gathering from 7 AM. I was shocked to see the discipline of voters. Men and women voluntarily formed separate queues and started entering in room one by one.
Second surprise was that unlike urban elections more women voted than men. The participation of voters was enormous crossing more than 80% turnout. Even specially abled and old participated with full enthusiasm.
To my surprise election was completely peaceful, not a smallest disturbance. Now imagine a remote village in a remote block of a least developed district of a underdeveloped state. That's the uniqueness of our country, beauty of our demo-racy.

According to my point of view,
1.INDIAN TOILET is much better than english toilet to have a healthy body. All diseases and problems comes from this only. Moreover, Indians don't use toilet papers which is even more good as compared to rest of the world.
Here is the scientific reason of this.
I think picture itself has cleared all the things.
Over the last few decades, bowel related diseases like hemorrhoids, appendicitis, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome have been on the rise especially in the western world due to several reasons including diet & lifestyle. That triggered a series of experiments and research studies in which scientists & doctors began to notice an interesting pattern. They noticed that the probability of such diseases was higher when one used the western toilet. Further research on this topic revealed that the seating position for western toilet was actually against human anatomy.
In terms of healthy lifestyle, Indians were at the top but today we forgot our ancestors' teachings and following western lifestyle.
- CLOTHING : In most of the world, people usually wear tight dresses specially in european side. But you will notice in all over India, dresses of all states were quite loose. And today's research says wearing loose clothes has a lot benefits on our body and mind. But I don't know what happened to our indian mentality if we wear traditional dress they make fun. They think all knowledge and education has gone into dress and english.
- INDIAN CLASSICAL MUSIC: In India there are two classical systems of music. One is Hindustan classical music and Carnatic music. This shows our music diversity. And again we listen western music and think we are cool. All know thing thing our music is directly connected to spirituality not just a show off or performance. Our ancestors sung and played music for themselves not to be a rockstar.
- Knowledge: In India, It was never said that earth is flat or unscientific concepts were written. All things written in our holy books all are true. This all has been proved by modern science.
