Have you ever seen the effect these behemoths have on the ports they call at? Small ports like Mykonos, Santorini, Dubrovnik, Split, Venice and Kotor are overwhelmed and ruined by so many cruise ships dum thousands of people at once, all trying to visit. We were once in Dubrovnik when six cruise ships were in port. It was chaos! At some point there has to be a stop to these.

you couldnt pay me to go on a cruise. unless it was like a super small boat filled only with 25 year olds and over. nothing says "disaster" like an oversized ship on unpredictable seas with thousands of dirty strangers and a bunch of obnoxous kids.

All these people ranting on about Norovirus etc are missing the point. Any cruise ship can become a haven for diseases because unfortunately, lots of passengers, old & young, don't wash their hands after using the toilet. DISGUSTING, they should be thrown overboard! Some of us, older persons generally though, would prefer a quieter, less family orientated experience. This doesn't mean we're anti-family, most of us have had kids & are enjoying some well-earned quieter moments when we're on holiday. Personally for me, Cunard every time.

那些说诺如病毒的人都没有抓住重点。任何邮轮都是疾病的温床，很多乘客，无论老少，如厕后都不洗手。真恶心，真应该把他们都扔到海里去！对有些人来说，喜欢更安静、更少家庭体验。这并不意味着我们是反家庭的，我们大多数人都有孩子，在我们度假的时候更想享受安静时刻。我每次都选择Cunard。
