尼尔巴娅轮奸案罪犯维奈夏玛在提哈尔监狱企图自杀
NEW DELHI: Vinay Sharma, one of the convicts sentenced to death for the rape and murder of Nirbhaya in Delhi in December 2012, attempted suicide on Wednesday night in Tihar jail.
Sharma consumed pills and tried to hang himself after.
He has been admitted to Deen Dayal Upadhyay hospital.

Sharma had last year demanded extra security in jail, claiming that he was physically assaulted by other inmates and police officials there.
In 2013, Ram Singh, a prime accused in the Nirbhaya case, was found hanging inside Tihar jail.
