现代世界迎来一场人口大规模迁移，没有发生在欧美，而是发生在非洲。

过去几十年，很多人都向往移民西方，比如美国、加拿大、欧洲和澳大利亚，但大批中国人选择了另一条路，漂洋过海前往非洲。他们身份各不相同，有工程师、建筑工人，也有商人、工厂主、餐馆老板、农民和创业者。不少人原本只打算短期工作几年，最后却在当地扎根，开启全新的生活。

中国人远赴非洲，最核心的目的是当地有发展机会。随着中国经济快速发展，中非经贸关系不断加深，大量中国企业出海，在非洲修路、建铁路、建厂、修建港口和通信网络，大批工人、工程师随之来到非洲。很多人本来只是参与短期项目，却发现当地存在市场空白：有些商品很难买到、部分服务价格高昂、不少行业几乎是空白。于是他们选择留下来做生意。

Hi Stacey, what you quoted is correct in a sense BUT don't forget this emigration is no different as was colonialism in two centuries ago. Chinese will bring looking like development for the African Nations but instead establish their OWN self interest. I contrast to date what or how much the African People have gained truly. In small island countries they have ABANDONED once it's NOT to their benefits. Something I personally have witnessed.

This sounds great China immigrated to Africa but there needs to be a lot of education otherwise they will disrespect us coming into our country disrespecting us while our government give them preferential treatment. It could cause problems. This needs to be put into law where discriminated behaviour would be an offense because they are the Chinese that is ahead of Africa in technology and look at ahead it would they could easily overtake they need to grow together with respect China is a great country and they have helped build infrastructure in a lot of countries but we would like better respect from them. I know in general they do but our government needs to learn to make sure that there are systems in place to protect exsting laws regarding land ownership everything needs to belong to the government. That way they have control 99 years is too long. They need to be progressive and make sure that everything they do is benefiting everyone I say again China is a great country and the fact that they all want to come to Africa is a great thing but it needs to be measured fair respectful and grow together.
