At the Raisna Dialogue 2026, India's External Affairs Minister, Dr S. Jaishankar, spoke with Palki Sharma, Managing Editor at Firstpost, about the future of the Indian Ocean. As part of his opening remarks, the External Affairs minister noted that the direction of India's rise is "clear" and "unstoppable." He said that India's rise will not be determined by the mistakes made by other countries, adding that it will be determined by Indians themselves.

在2026年赖辛纳对话上，印度外交部长苏杰生博士与《印度第一邮报》总编辑帕尔基·夏尔马就印度洋的未来展开对话。印度外长在开场发言中表示，印度崛起的方向清晰明确且势不可挡。他指出，印度的崛起不会由其他国家的失误所决定，而是由印度人民自己决定。

@Chris-m2o1s india has a pretty decent purchasing power parity per capita. The cost of goods and services are cheaper in India thus our nominal GDP per capita can't be compared to the US. However india is growing at 7-8% so should reach high income status in 20 years.
