If BYD can sell cars in the USA, it will bankrupt most of the US car industry. I have been wanting to buy a RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid or a Highlander Hybrid, but there are hardly any available at our local dealership, and they’re really expensive. If I could get a BYD, I would buy one.

Canada is supposed to start selling BYD and other Chinese brands soon. Also, Mexco already has Chinese EVs. The US really doesn’t have a car industry left anymore.

I don't care what Canada and Mexco do. They're dum grounds, and that's why some parts of the EU have banned the sale of BYD.

They (BYD) stopped producing ICE cars a few years ago. Now they produce BEVs—they even make the Toyota bZ3—and PHEVs (plug-in hybrids), which are also used in Toyota’s latest PHEV models. If you want an ICE car, try GAC or FAW—they produce Toyota models—or SAIC, which produces VW models.
