For a person who have been to China multiple times, I absolutely love and envy China. It's absolutely a big disappointment when I return to India and hear all the negative news about China. Chinese people absolutely love Indian people and we instead are preaching hatred towards them. It's a very very sad affair. Even my children are asking why we are always saying bad things about China all the time. They went to China with me too. I can't answer them. What can I say? ....India afterall is my country and we are supposed to hate China.

Thank you for posting a positive comment about China. I am an ethnic Chinese residing in a western country. I am also feeling disheartened by western media disparaging China constantly. I cringe every time news on China appear on National news bulletin as it's almost always negative. I recently cancelled the subscription to the local newspaper for the same reason. Thank goodness for youtube which is now my main source of international news and I am proud of the achievement of China in the recent decades. My ancestors left China in late 1800's as China was wrecked by the colonial powers. I'll one day visit China to witness with my eyes the reawakening of the celestial dragon.

I think there is too many elections in India. The politicians have to be in election campaign mode all year round and no time to concentrate on nation building.During election campaign mode, a lot of hate, exaggerated, and misleading speeches are spoken. People are perpetually in confrontation mode and therefore divided.

I had been to both countries multiple times though much less to India. I sincerely wish both countries can get along and develop their respective countries into prosperous and advanced countries that stand proud against western countries!

The mantra for western media on China is that if they can’t find anything negative to say about China, they just ignore happenings in China. The most obvious example is the complete lack of coverage about the Asian Games in Hangzhou. It’d really hurt them to report on the wonderful opening ceremony, the advanced technology, all the happy people, the sportsmanship, the amazing infrastructure etc. etc.

I wish India learn something good from China instead of bashing them. Following the West blindly, there's a cost being a sidekick. It's better to get along with your neighbors than kneeling to someone is 10.000km away.
