BENGALURU: As Vikram and Pragyan, the Chandrayaan-3 lander and rover, continue to do science on the Moon, Isro has set the date for the launch of its solar mission — 11.50am, on September 2.

班加罗尔:随着“月船3号”着陆器“维克拉姆”和月球车“Pragyan”继续在月球上进行科学研究,印度空间研究组织(Isro)将向太阳发射探测器的日期定为9月2日上午11点50分。

The agency has completed the integration of the Aditya-L1 spacecraft — India’s first solar observatory mission — with its workhorse launch vehicle, the PSLV, at Sriharikota.

ISRO已经在斯里赫里戈达岛完成了Aditya-L1——印度首个太阳探测器——与其主力运载火箭PSLV的集成。

Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre director S Unnikrishnan Nair told TOI that with this, Isro has entered the last leg of launch preparations. “The launch vehicle and spacecraft have been integrated. Now, we are carrying out tests after which the PSLV will be moved to the launchpad.”

The spacecraft, realised at the UR Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), Bengaluru, had reached the spaceport in Sriharikota on August 14. Aditya-L1 is the first space-based observatory-class Indian solar mission to study the Sun.

The mission to study the Sun will be India’s fifth biggest mission after Mangalyaan programme and three lunar missions. Isro has completed the integration of Aditya-L1 craft with workhorse launcher, PSLV (C57). The spacecraft will travel till Lagrangian point-1 — between the Sun and the Earth, 1.5 million km from our planet. A satellite placed in the halo orbit around the L1 point has the advantage of continuously viewing the Sun without any occultation or eclipse, which is not possible from the Earth.

研究太阳的任务将是印度继Mangalyaan计划和三次月球任务之后的第五大任务。印度空间研究组织(Isro)已经完成了Aditya-L1运载火箭与主力运载火箭PSLV (C57)的集成。该航天器将运行到拉格朗日点1——太阳和地球之间,距离地球150万公里。放置在环绕L1点的光环轨道上的卫星具有连续观测太阳的优势,没有任何掩星或日食,而在地球上这是不可能的。

That will be more challenging for this space craft(Aditya) to send data signals back to Earth. Because there are millions of explosions happened on the Sun surfaces that causes Solar winds surround of millions of Km in this solar storm can ISRO's Aditya space craft survive or can send signals properly back to the Earth. Another point Semiconductor work only at above few degree higher than room temp..

Depends on state. UP has had tremendous improvement in road infra in last 10 years. Delhi to Haridwar which used to take anywhere from 7-9 hours due to traffic and poor roads now has a predictable time of 4.5-5 hours. Same for multiple other highways and intra city roads in UP and also Uttarakhand. Really depends on local government priorities
