More than 250 killed in Algerian military plane crash: State TV
ALGIERS: More than 250 people including members of Western Sahara's Polisario independence movement were killed when a military plane crashed in a field outside Algeria's capital on Wednesday, offi als said.
Television footage showed crowds gathering around the smoking and flaming wreckage near Boufarik airport southwest of Algiers.
A total of 257 people died in the crash, state TV reported.
In February 2014, an Algerian Air Force Lockheed C-130 Hercules crashed in a mountainous area in eastern Algeria killing 77 passengers and leaving one survivor.

This could go down as ONE of the Worst Air Crashes with about 250 reported dead mostly Military persons
May the souls of these dead rest in Peace and hope the Authority take corrective actions to avoid such crash EVER again

Very bad news! 250 people died on the spot. ! Whenever a plane crash happens the casualty always remains high.. Technology has developed but a sy em to save the human life when plane crash is still a long away.
