外文标题：Parents use 'corrective rape' to 'straight'en gays
Imagine your parents getting you raped to bring you on to the right path! That's a reality that several homosexuals in India are facing.
According to statistics with the Crisis intervention team of LGBT Collective in Telangana, there have been 15 instances of 'corrective rapes' that have been reported in the group in the last five years. "We are sure there are many more cases, but they go unreported, says Vyjayanti Mogli, a member of crisis intervention. "We came across such cases not because they reported the rape, but because they sought help to flee their homes."
In most cases of corrective rape, the perpetrators are family members because of which the victims refrain from seeking legal recourse. "Victims find it traumatising to speak of their brothers/ cousins turning rapists and prefer to delete the incident from their memories and cut off ties with their families. Which is why such cases almost never get reported," Vyjayanti says.
This is really shocking, i saw this topic couple of days ago and didnt bother to read but never expected its something thats happening in india....if its true then our society is one big pile of sh*t

So ironic that it is called "Corrective" rape. As if it is a good form of rape that is being promoted and defaming the LGBT society for just being different. I hope people soon realize that sexuality is a person's choice and people need to start respecting them for what they are :)

This news is fake. Please don't publish such things. No parent would like their child get raped by their own someone. The brain behind this news needs urgent treatment else he will turn a monster one day.

Is this our culture to feel proud about . There are too many ugly stuff in our culture and I think it is time we stop boasting about our great culture and start mending the rotting stuff , if at all possible
