India should be cautious about hosting the Olympics due to several reasons. The massive financial burden of organizing such an event can strain the economy, diverting resources from essential areas like infrastructure, healthcare, and education. India's exsting sports infrastructure is underdeveloped, and the construction of new facilities could lead to wastage if not maintained post-Olympics. Additionally, logistical challenges, including traffic, pollution, and security concerns, could hinder the event's success. Instead, India might benefit more by focusing on grassroots sports development and improving exsting infrastructure.

印度对举办奥运会应持谨慎态度，背后有多个原因。举办这类赛事所需的巨额资金会给经济带来压力，还可能挤占本应用于基础设施、医疗和教育等关键领域的资源。印度现有的体育基础设施并不完善，而且新建场馆若在奥运会后得不到维护，很可能造成资源浪费。此外，交通、污染和安全等后勤问题也可能影响赛事的顺利举办。相反，印度若将重点放在基层体育发展和改善现有基础设施上，或许能获得更大的收益。

i completely agree. Not Athens perhaps but lets say a neutral Island. All countries will provide some funding and it will be a permanent location for olympics and training. No one country has to foot the bill, make the island Carbon Neutral and clean and use the rest of the billions in building ground level infra in poor countries for sports and facilities.

Firstly, our infrastructure is third class and the development projects that will be undertaken, will be mired with corruption (lookup 'Commonwealth Games' corruption), so no improvement in that area. Most countries that had hosted olympics regrets it. It has negative impacts on host cities and countries, giving financial debts and burdens, displacement of residents, environmental damage, and the creation of unused infrastructure that were used only during it's olympic runs which now are in ruins and needed a huge money just to keep it usable.
