Jensen also know that China is catching up fast in fabricating their own advance chips for AI, for him and his company the lead Nvidia has over Huawei is shrinking very fast, so the windows for Nvidia to continue selling these chips will be closed in a few year. Also a lot of companies in China do not want H20 as they are keen to use Huawei chips to work out issue with their own chips. There is no break in the chip war and it will continue when China stop buying Nvidia chips.

Nvidia has a eco system, if Chinese chips roll out to the world at cheaper price, they will get out of their eco system. Huawei got banned for the same reason. I think its too late for Nvidia to recover from this. Huawei unprepared during 2018 but not this time

25% of Nvdia's profit are from China and even after the US sanctions on high end GPUs that Nvdia manage to sell low end H20 GPUs to China; and now US government has gave Nvdia the green light to continue selling H20 to China. But China already got Huawei's 910c GPUs which is 4x faster than H20 and about the same price, Nvdia might not get that same profit margin as before. EU surrendering to US as US force them to use US products while US limits their export to the US and will sanction them for any Huawei products. With Italy arresting a top Chinese AI hardware researcher whom went there for vacation to prove Italy's loyalty to the US, which would also meant sanctions from China would definitely follow, surely China is not italy's major trading partner but Italy is addicted to cheap Chinese products, without Chinese products that Italy will feel the pinch as prices of goods will go up by a lot.
