Yes lets look at Sri Lanka. Most Sri Lankan debt are to western private lenders while China built a big port which creates revenue to Sri Lanka. So even the always brought up example trying to denigrate Chinese BRI initiative and infrastructure are proving the point that Chinese investment brings economic benefit while western investment bring debt and political meddling. Guess the jokes on you.

I have been in China for about ten years. China’s fast trains are always on time, very comfortable to travel, and their staff is the most professional.

I travelled on one of these from beiing to shanghai around 1200km distance in just over 4 hrs. The train reached a speed of upto 370km/hr. It was strangly quiet and strangely smooth. Never had such experience ever.
The amazing part is its not a test project or something luxury... its a common commute method between cities. Faster then plane. And over a million people use it daily.

I’m from Scandinavian country and I think that a very large part of China has fantastic technologies and I would really want to use a lot more of their advantages in many sectors. As many other countries, I’m just afraid of getting too reliant on China like I’m afraid of being too reliant on the US because if we use their products they can just turn it on and off in one way or another and we’re not able to use it optimal if they do that and there’s a conflict in the world. China is very different from Europe and from my Scandinavian country in politics and way of thinking and I’m afraid of that would be a collision if something happened in the world and that’s what I’m afraid of being a reliant too much on a big country otherwise China is way ahead in many technologies and they are living in the future in some ways already now. Nice work China …. from Scandinavia.
