I think the one most critical advantage that the US has with all of it's carriers is the 100 years (nearly) of deck, logistical, combat, maintenance and protocols that the US navy has! Additionally, China has yet to even do any all-weather training or night operations!!

In the Vietnam War, I was on the Ticonderoga CVA14, and the Midway CVA41. The Ticonderoga could lainch a plane every 28 seconds, we lost a cat and were launching every 30 seconds. Whe both cats went down we llaunched a plane every 30 seconds doing full deck launches. We could both launch and recover simultaneously every 30 seconds.

Another mistake on the Fujian is the placement of the forward catapults. The catapults on the Ford are angled so their start point is away from the landing area so both catapults can be utilized while landing operations are going on. Those on the Fujian are aligned with the ship centerline so the catapult closest to the landing area blocks a portion of the landing area so if a plane had to fly around again there is a danger of collision. Essentially the Fujian can only use one catapult during simultaneous launch and recovery of aircraft.

As far as Taiwon, China could bombard them, even try a blockade to isolate them but as long as Taiwon opposes reunification, China is incapable of invading them.
