Names of soldiers killed in Galwan clash to be inscribed on National War Memorial
NEW DELHI: The names of 20 Indian Army personnel, who were killed after valiantly fighting troops in Galwan Valley in eastern Ladakh on June 15, will be inscribed on the National War Memorial here, offi als said on Thursday.
They said the process for inscribing the names of the Army personnel on the memorial may take a few months.
and Indian troops clashed in Galwan Valley for several hours on the night of June 15 in their deadliest brawl in the last five decades.

During a visit to Lukung forward post in eastern Ladakh on July 17, defence minister Rajnath Singh personally conveyed his appreciation and compliments to the troops from the Bihar re gient for displaying exemplary grit and courage in fighting the troops.
In his address to the soldiers, the defence minister said the Indian soldiers killed in the Galwan Valley clash not only showed exemplary courage in safeguarding the border but also prected the pride of 130 crore Indians.

They are the Martyrs & their has to be in the War Memorial. Their sacrifices cannot be forgotten. History will read them with pride.
Indians will always be grateful to our fallen soldiers. May they rest in peace.
Inscribing names on National Memorial, awarding the brave soldiers Commendation Cards etc will definitely boost the moral of the Army. But what is required more than these is to ensure their families financial future are fully secured and their children`s` educations are fully secured . Hope Gt is doing everything possible on these.

galwan war memorial is good , but please please give a hefty compensation to the families of departed martyrs ,so that their kids ,wives and parents dont face financial hurdles in life at least.
These brave sons of India deserve this honour.
They need the highest respect and gratitude from a grateul country for their exemplary sacrifice. We as countrymen stand by them and their families. As a nation we should ensure their family members are well taken care off and their children supported through out.
We the people of India and our go nment have let them down by not taking any action ag inst the murderers. I hang my head in shame.

What?. didn't invade India. Then how those beggars got killed?. Did they try to steal soil?.
This is all fine, but why our 56" inch Hercules can't build up the courage to take the name of publically?
