A third of the households in the country lived in a house that had just a single room in 2011. However, this is an improvement, 30 years ago almost half of India lived in a single-room house.

Families are growing. So 1 makes way for 2. But the interesting thing is 5 rooms is down . Looks like they are selling big bungalows to may way for apartments.
家庭在不断壮大
所以一居室为二居室让路
有趣的是5居室在减少
看来人们在把别墅卖掉，换成公寓啊
