外文标题：In a first, 109 sent to jail for urinating in public
AGRA: In an unprecedented cleanliness drive, and perhaps, for the first time in India, Government Railway Police of Agra division has sent 109 persons to jail for 24 hours after they were found urinating on the railway property, including platform, tracks parking lot. They were later released after paying a fine ranging from Rs 100 to Rs 500 depending on the gravity of the act of creating a public nuisance.
Disgusted with the stink of urine and ugly red pan stains due to spitting in every nook and corner at stations and other railway properties, senior superintendent of police, GRP, Gopeshnath Khanna ordered his men to conduct a drive against such miscreants and penalize them for public nuisance.
The drive was conducted over a 48-hour period across 12 stations of GRP, Agra division. As many as 109 people were nabbed. Of these 27 were caught in the act on Friday.

How many people you are going to send in jail for peeing on road when you do not have any restrooms and if you do some they smell so badly virtually you vomit.Honestly i had to go in 5 star hotel hotel in New Delhi just to use their restroom near cannaught place few times and spend little money .There was one rest room near city bank and you can smell it 10 feet away.I guess government wants to do us pee in pants.

Major problem is that we dont have public toilets. Govt should build. They may charge an amount but we need a place to pee. After walking out from home, theres hardlt any place to pee.

what about providing Urinal at many places. SSP saheb is just misusing his poweres
Even govt schools are not having toilets, if they have its not clean or functional. so, government first build sufficient toilets and keep them clean as well as functional.
In many cities when we have urgent we do not find urinals close enough to urinate. Municipals should have urinals at every corner of city.

Where are clean public restrooms so that people don't have to do it on road or corners? There are few and you will vomit before anything else as soon as you enter there.
