Maria Zakharova lashed out at Western media after reports claimed Vladimir Putin rushed his China visit following Donald Trump’s Beiing trip. Calling the reports “pure disinformation,” Zakharova accused the West of mocking its own audience and showing a “complete misunderstanding” of Russia-China ties. Putin visited China on May 19-20 for high-level talks with china just days after Trump’s own visit to Beiing.
