今年农历新年，中国游客有了新的首选旅游国家。

South Korea now tops the list of Lunar New Year destinations for Chinese travellers amid heightened tensions between China and the former top destination, Japan. An estimated 250,000 tourists from mainland China are expected to land in South Korea during the 40-day Lunar New Year travel window, according to analysis by China Trading Desk.

I've been to China. I can tell you the only thing Vietnam is similar to China is the political system, everything else is very different. The language (both spoken and written forms) is very different, the food is very different, the urban street scenes look VERY DIFFERENT, the drink is very different (Viets like coffee, Chinese like tea), the Internet is world apart, etc... Even ancient architecture-wise, Vietnam has a lot of French and Champa buildings. I don't see much overlap between China and Vietnam.

The Chinese calendar is lunisolar, not just lunar, and the Purple Mountain Observatory in China still calculates this date using ancient Chinese astronomical methods.
