It won't cos once Indians become upper middle class, they want a viceroy like lifestyle which is driver, maid, cook, someone to take garbage from their house, etc. In Europe only top 1 percent get this but in India some 30 percent folks get this lifestyle. For 30 percent to get viceroy service, 70 percent of the country HAS to be in utter dump, in filth, perpetually 1 step from starvation. The biggest complaints of upper middle class Indians in Europe is how even after making €10k a month, they have to cook their own food, drive their own car and clear their own garbage whereas for €800-1000 a month, you can get all those services done by another human. So the Indian notion of success depends on a huge majority of citizens living in absolute filth and poverty. Nobody will clean trash or do maid work for someone making €1000 a month in a prosperous society
